Brio have always been predominantly associated with wooden train sets. Many of the Brio train sets range has been through some change to update their style and features. Brio Cargo Harbour Set

The Brio Cargo Harbour has many points of action to keep amusement levels high. Supplied with a moderate oval of wooden train track, these Brio train sets comes with specific and unique train set pieces that link into the track itself. Firstly, there is the cargo crane that has a hand wound winch with a magnetic connection on the end. The crane can be used to lift the heavy cargo's on and off the supplied container ship. The ship itself is wonderfully detailed and has two opening and closing cargo holds as well as cabin and funnel details. The other linkable element is a lifting bridge. The Brio bridge has a mock steel structure that can be raised and lowered with the knob located on it's side. The bridge has a rocky casting upon which it sits and when raised allows the cargo ship to pass underneath and when lowered lets any wooden train pass over. There are also operational safety barriers to prevent any train catastrophes. The set also comes with a Brio battery operated train which will pull the opening and closing boxcar trailer.

The Brio Freight Circle Set is a lovely circular wooden train set that comes with a train, gas load carriage, gas storage facility, gas bottle detail, 8 piece track and a warning sign. As Brio wooden train track is compatible with many other brands this can fit in with an existing wooden train set or makes a great start to the world of wooden trains.
The Brio name represents excellent quality in wooden train sets. The Brio Freight Circle Set is fun and captures the imagination for extended play revolving both around the railway setting and the gas delivery options. This set can be used alone, although use might be limited because of it's size.

The Fun on the Farm Starter Set is one of Brio's more popular wooden train sets. The appeal of this wooden toy is the farm theme for younger children. With a figure of eighth track, children will love transporting the little sheep in the trucks that attach to the back of the locomotive round and around. The railway set comes with a moulded green hill that supports the bridging track, there are also some green bushes at the bottom of the hill as well. There are a number accessories including a stable, wooden hay bales three livestock fence sections and two wooden sheep as well as a farmer. The engine supplied is bright red and black with one open truck, for the sheep and a wagon carrying hay.
